Referral program
Share Clapboard. Both of you get free time.
Know a creator who's drowning in docs, spreadsheets and sticky notes? Send them your link. They get a month of Solo and you earn free time for every creator who joins.
The creator you invite
30 days of Solo, free
Applied the moment they sign up with your link.
You, on the Free plan
30 days of Solo, free
For every creator who joins with your link.
You, on Solo or higher
14 days of Teams with 10 seats
For every creator who joins. Invite your crew and try shared studios.
How it works
- 01
Copy your personal link from Account in your studio.
- 02
Share it with creators: DMs, Discord, your newsletter, a video description.
- 03
When they sign up, both rewards apply instantly. No codes to type.

Get my linkQuestions
Where do I find my link?
Sign in and open Account. Your personal link is in the “Invite creators” card with a one-click copy button. It looks like clap-app.com/auth?mode=signup&ref=CLAP-XXXXXX.
Do I need to choose my reward?
No. Your reward is picked automatically from the plan you're on when your friend signs up. If you're on Free you get Solo. If you're on Solo, Teams or Studio you get two weeks of Teams with 10 seats.
Do rewards stack?
Yes. Every referral adds more time on top of what you already have. If you have Solo free time and earn Teams, your studio moves up to Teams and the time adds up.
What happens when the free time ends?
Your studio returns to your regular plan. You're never charged automatically and nothing is deleted. We'll show a reminder in the app and send an email a few days before it ends.
Who can be referred?
New Clapboard accounts only, within their first 7 days, that haven't bought a plan yet. Each account can be referred once, and you can't refer yourself.
Is there a limit?
No cap right now. We may change or end the program in the future; any time you've already earned stays yours.
